Volunteer Position: Surplus Table Associate

Reports to: Program Coordinator

Purpose

The Surplus Table Associate helps organize the surplus area and making sure that all products are distributed fairly to our guests. The Surplus Table Associate is responsible for making sure that the area is safe and cleanly and that all perishable food is stored appropriately.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Organize donations on table and surrounding area
• Ensure that the kitchen is supplied first
• Set up area so that all products are accessible to be given away to guests
• Maintain the area to ensure products can be given away safely. Make sure there are no tripping hazards, Spills, empty boxes, etc…
